Hi Gang,

I am pleased to announce the arrival of the Mutley's Hangar Video Group (MHVG).

With the ever increasing popularity of flight sim video's I have created a showcase group on SimTube in order that we can club all our videos together in one place.

It is a public group so that anyone on SimTube or the great out doors will be able to view our videos and may be tempted to join the forum.

I think SimTube is the way to go as it is dedicated to flight sim videos so you may find other great FS videos there too!

You will need to join SimTube [Free] and upload your video first then join the group in order to add your video. The group member activation has to be done by me, once a member you can add videos at will, the initial video upload usually appears after only about 5 minutes!

There is a forum attached to the group but I have disabled it as it will be too confusing where to look to comment, so I think a new post here with your comment and a URL link should do it you then will hopefully get feed back here.

If you do decide to upload a video, contrary to previous posts I suggest you post ONLY the URL link here. I have been testing the embed function for SimTube videos on our forum and it looks as though the video is loaded when you view the forum rather than loading when you press play so takes an age to show, that's going to be annoying to other members. I hope you will take advantage of this, hopefully we will get more interest from flight sim users if they see plenty of action.

If you get any problems using it or I have missed something out please let me know.

So if you have any comments about the SimTube functionality or problems post here. Otherwise make a new post in the MHVG forum with a link to your video.

And where is this group I hear you cry!

If you only want to see the list of videos added use this link-

p.s. I have posted a little teaser as to what *may* happen in the next ATWC adventure

Bookmark it!! Enjoy it!!

Cheers

No. I uploaded it 5 times until it was truly uploaded! It's a bit frustrating

Ok, sorry about that. Unfortunately these things are outside my control.

My uploads were not quite that big.

Cheers

O.K. - I've worked out how to upload, so, if you want a laugh, go to:
http://www.simtube.com/view_video.php?viewkey=cd8d7dd095917f9efe4c
You can tell I've not done this sort of thing at all before, so just imagine what Dr Strangelove would have been like if I'd been asked ...... no, don't go there!!
Hope you didn't fall asleep - thanks for watching!
Cheers - Dai.

I'm looking forward to viewing this one!
(In the morning as I'm too tired at the moment and I might just fall asleep!!)

Dai, it was just great - what more could I ask for - the Beach Boys, a BUFF and a KC-135 all at the same
time. Nice play on words with the title of the musical selection too. Good stuff!

John
