In FS9 I would simply hit shift and return to tilt the pilots head on take off to give a better view of the runway. This is not the case in FSX! I can move around just fine in the virtual cockpit etc but in the 2D cockpit how do you tilt the view??

I'm a dyed-in-the-wool FS9 user and have no idea what that is.

It came with Pilot in Command 737 for FS9...it is a utility that allows free movement around the virtual cockpit.....which is now employed by default in FSX....however you could use the same tool externally also therefore with a simple roll of the mouse wheel you could zoom into the plane without the scenery zooming also.

follow the link and things will become clear.....see even the most experienced can still learn something everyday

Cheers!

Well there's why I didn't know if you had to buy a tube-o-chairs to get it. Will have a look.
