3 days work. Something quick before Christmas.

Recommended Posts

A pre Christmas job, Built this one over the last 3 days. Extra detail added include a complete instrument panel, (just visible in one shot) and a nicely detailed engine(sadly mostly hidden but visible through the front cowling). The decals had to be replaced as the 40 year old ones it came with were, like most Revell decals of the era, too big and all but useless as they were too thick to adhere to the curves. Luckily I had some spares. Anyway this is the Polikarpov I-16 in 1/72 scale by Revell.

Good work again Al. Revell made some quite obscure plane kits, always wanted the Brewster Buffalo. :thum:

Nice work Alan, I like the stubby design, it almost reminds me of a Gee Bee!

Ha...I thought similar...like a a P40 Warhawk and a GB racer were left alone together in a hangar too long :D
