  4. Flight One Software is proud to announce that their award-winning T182T is now updated to work with Flight Simulator X Steam Edition, and is also available as a separate download purchase for Lockheed Martin Prepar3d The T182T by Flight1 takes the quality and workmanship detail of our Cessna Citation Mustang, and packs it into one of the most beloved single-engine, tricycle gear airplanes of all time. The T182T combines speed, elegance, safety, and range in an aircraft that is easy to fly, yet have the capability to perform like most twins with a maximum operating altitude of 20,000 feet while cruising up to 176 knots. About the Flight1 T182T Starting out as a tricycle gear variant of the 180 back in 1956, the 182 has grown to be the second most popular model Cessna has produced after the 172. A personal favorite of many pilots around the world, the 182, with its timeless high wing design, is the aircraft of choice when it comes to four-passenger comfort, style, and performance over any other. The 182 of today builds on the performance, style, and detail of its predecessor and adds the safety and security of the Garmin G1000 glass cockpit system. The T182T instrument panel includes both a large Primary Flight Display (PFD) and a Multi-Function Display (MFD), to give the modern day private pilot a multitude of features and options at their fingertips. The great avionics package of the G1000 cockpit wouldn't be complete without having a great powerplant underneath the cowling also. The T182T is powered by Lycoming Turbo-charged power plant that give the aircraft a 1,039 feet-per-minute climb and allows it to ascend high over mountains, weather, terrain, other general aviation traffic while it takes advantage of more favorable winds aloft. From spinner to tail, the Flight1 T182T will give sim pilots serious function and fun to wherever they decide to fly. For more information, screenshots, and to download the FSX Steam Edition or Prepar3d versions of this aircraft today, visit http://www.flight1.com/products.asp?product=f1t182t
  5. Flight One Software, in cooperation with Scenery Solutions, is proud to announce the official release of Ultimate Terrain X Europe Version 2.1 patch. This is another significant upgrade, with a big improvement being made to the landclass for the largest cities in Europe. For nearly 100 of the largest cities, we have “hand-classified” the landclass using our proprietary editing software. With this software, we can visually select the closest available texture for each landclass cell, using a direct side-by-side comparison to the actual satellite imagery. This methodology provides the most accurate portrayal of the real-world using the FSX/P3D landclass system. Also included in the upgrade is a reworking of several significant port areas and rivers. And, we have addressed additional anomalies reported in V2.0. The V2.1 upgrade is free for all UTX Europe V2.0 customers. UTX V1.x users can still upgrade to UTX V2.1 at a reduced price of 50%. To get the V2.1 patch, existing users should see the forum announcement below. http://www.simforums.com/forums/admin-utx-europe-v21-upgrade-released_topic52575.html To purchase UTX Europe, or upgrade from V1.x at a reduced price, please see the link below: http://www.flight1.com/products.asp?product=utxeurope.
  6. Flight1 Software has officially announced that all Ground Environment X region products have been released with major city texture and autogen updates. The latest GEX region patches supports both Flight Simulator X box edition and Flight Simulator Steam Edition. The patches are free to GEX users through the automated interface update system for all GEX regions. UTX USA/Canada/Tropics/Alaska - Double Bonus: We have upgraded the UTX LUX layers with new source textures and autogen annotation as well as updated the road night lighting to work in concert with the new UTX-3D night lights. GEX EUROPE (GEX EU) v2.50: This patch is for GEX Europe v2.30-2.40 and will have the least overall graphic visual impact on Europe city daytime textures but will upgrade UTX Europe LUX features and night road lighting. However, this update includes landclass changes that work specifically with UTX Europe v2.0+ and are designed to work with the recently released UTX Europe v2.1. Europe city 'graphics' fall under a separate development cycle and will be updated at a later date. An announcement will be made when those updates are ready for release. The patches for all GEX regions listed below will include a free upgrade to GEX North America version 2.10 with current or older versions of GEX NA installed: GEX AFRICA AND THE MIDDLE EAST (GEX AFME) v1.20-1.30 GEX ATLANTIC AND PACIFIC TROPICS (GEX APT) v1.10-1.20 GEX ASIA AND SOUTH AMERICA (GEX ASA) v1.00-1.10 GEX AUSTRALIA and ANTARCTICA (GEX AA) v1.00 Many of the cities in the regions listed above will receive major city upgrades both day and night. In the past we have offered free upgrades of GEX North America to users of the listed GEX regions and that will continue here. When you install and enable any of the patches for the regions listed above GEX North America will automatically update to version 2.10 as well as include all the Ultimate Terrain X upgrades. The highest visual impact to cities will be in South Africa, Asia especially Japan, Australia and New Zealand. Some South America and tropical locations will see changes as well. Please note that the major city update patches for GEX EU-AFME-APT and ASA include our last patch cycle updates so if you missed the last update cycle earlier this year all updates for the listed regions are combined for your convenience. The automated GEX update system will not allow any mistakes. For detailed information on these releases and any assistance you may need, please visit us in the Ground Environment X support forum: http://www.simforums.com/forums/gex-world-major-city-updates-and-gex-na-v21_topic52352.html
  7. Flight One Software announced today that they have released their popular and highly rated King Air B200 add-on aircraft for Lockheed Martin’s Prepar3D. Taking full advantage of the P3D’s updated graphic engine and features, the Flight1 King Air B200 looks absolutely stunning and performs beautifully on this new platform. The Flight1 B200 features a Blackhawk XP52 engine upgrade package. Two factory-new P&W PT6A-52 engines (the same engines used in factory-new 200GTs) provide an increased climb rate, a higher single-engine service ceiling, and a max cruise speed in excess of 310 knots. It is the fastest King Air you can get on a simulation platform, and it’s certified for single pilot operation. The King Air B200 for P3D is a deep simulation of a complex aircraft that you could actually fly all by yourself. The Flight1 B200 features a highly realistic simulation of the real-world B200’s electrical, pneumatic, fuel, pressurization, and oxygen systems. It also includes a brake system that simulates brake wear over time, and a simulated ice protection system that has a purpose: forget to use it and ice buildup on the aircraft will cause flight model changes and failures. G1000 features include realistic lateral and vertical autopilot and flight director modes (with support for fully coupled WAAS approaches), TAWS and traffic displays and alerting, safer-taxi-like airport diagrams on the PFD and MFD maps, in-aircraft creation and modification of flight plans, an updatable worldwide Navigraph navigation database, and a B200-specific Engine Indication System. Also included in the package is a Maintenance Module that monitors aircraft usage at the system level and persistently tracks wear and tear on the engines, propellers, tires, brakes, and flaps. The engines consume oil when they are running, and engine mismanagement on the ground will damage them. Using the Maintenance Module, pilots can make line service requests, make repairs, and enable or disable individual wear and damage features. Less ambitious pilots who just want to fly can disable these features altogether. The Flight1 B200 also features a custom-coded Android application that simulates the GCU 477 remote keypad controller. The app allows pilots with Android tablets and larger cell phones to control the MFD remotely, over a network. Using it saves screen real estate, is more realistic, and has no impact on performance. It’s the perfect add-on aircraft for a pilot who likes the complexity of an airliner, but wants to operate in a single pilot GA environment on the Lockheed Prepar3D simulation training platform. 24. Flight1 announces a brand new utility from the award-winner developer of Instant Scenery for Flight Simulator X and 2004 users. Instant Object Studio is an easy to use and powerful 3D object editor that runs as a Flight Simulator module and lets you design new scenery objects directly in the Flight Simulator 3D view. You can create several predefined types of 3D shapes and then edit and arrange them to make a scenery object. You can move, rotate and stretch individual parts of your model, bend them, apply different textures, create holes and indentations and apply other transformations to make even the most complex objects. You can use existing Flight Simulator textures, create generic textures or import photographs and other images. You edit objects directly inside Flight Simulator. No trial and error is needed. You see the object exactly in the same way as it will later appear in the scenery. This lets you easily design objects that perfectly match the scenery already in place. And after you save a scenery file, it immediately appears in the 3D view without having to restart Flight Simulator. Instant Object Studio does not need a complicated installation and is ready to use out of the box. You do not have to download and install the Flight Simulator SDK, or any other tools or converters.
