  4. Well done Alan, congratulations on your winning shot.
  5. Thanks for that Kevin and here is the web link again for downloading, my scenery which is at the bottom of the page. http://italyphotoreal.weebly.com/download.html
  6. Photo scenery for FSX, FSX Steam and P3D I plan to donate my home made photo scenery collection to an Italian contact who owns his own web site, http://www.italyphotoreal.weebly.com as he can upload to his " storage cloud", and then anyone who is interested can download when its convenient for them. On this site he is offering all the European photo scenery F.O.C but, if possible, asks for a donation for the Peter Pan Hospice Foundation in Rome for children's families to have accommodation and transport while cancer treatment is given, as a small thank you for all of his time making and processing scenery. https://www.wantedinrome.com/news/romes-peter-pan-charity-celebrates-20-years.html Its a very worth while cause and I feel it also helps give something back as when I started, on this all consuming hobby, this was the first site to offer free photo scenery to get me under way. What goes around......
  7. The downloads are now available for Finland, Canada, Malta, Ireland, New Zealand North / South Islands and UK. All have water effects, buildings and trees.
  8. For uploading images to the forum I use this FREE simple site......https://postimages.org

  10. Created in 2002, West Wales Airport is located at Aberporth on the west coast of Wales. It is owned and operated by West Wales Airport Ltd and supplies services to GA, military and unmanned aircraft alike. Centrally positioned within the segregated flying zones of danger areas D201 and D202 the airfield is in a unique position. Access to these areas, coupled with having created the only CAA accredited UAS operations manual in existence, enables the company to provide the most specialised capability in the UK for the operation of both large and small Unmanned Aircraft. For the past 10 years, the special capabilities and accommodation at the airport has enabled flight operations for many different unmanned systems including the Leonardo Falco and the entire period of test and evaluation of the UK MoD’s Watchkeeper UAS. Supplied by Thales UK, this major military program is now successfully in service with the British Army. Picture taken a few miles north of Aberporth.
  11. Swansea to Gloucester a great day out following the River Severn and my friend Stephen in hot pursuit. In June 1941 RAF Fairwood common was declared operational as a day and night fighter station. in spring 1949 the station was decommissioned and officially opened as Swansea airport on the 1st of June 1957.
  12. The term “The Emerald Isle” is synonymous with Ireland and its rolling hills and vales of green – at least forty shades, or so the famous Johnny Cash song goes. But how did Ireland come to be known as the Emerald Isle? Ireland’s resplendent greenery certainly had a lot to do with it, but there's more to the story and it starts with one rather interesting man. The first time the words ever appeared in print in reference to Ireland was in a poem by Belfast-born William Drennan, titled “When Erin First Rose.”
  13. Hi again Adrian, I only use home made photo scenery and no other add-ons and I am more than happy with P3D v 4 which performs better than FSX and FSX Steam.
  14. Hi Adrian, If this is any help. I'm using P3D v 4 on my "old computer" and it runs perfectly OK at 60 FPS. Its only a 2 core Pentium 3.2 GHz, 16 GB of RAM and the graphics card Nvidia GTX 960 with Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit.

I have redone the western approach several times now and happy with the final results. I haven't placed the electric pylons as most simmers would have these from other add-ons. I will add a picture later on. Its only a small folder so able to email it to you Joe. Cheers Mike.
