Thanks to Marcel for the idea (Keep 'em coming everyone!)

In this month's competition we would like to see aircraft with bad attitude! (And I don't mean plunging into the sea :D )

It could be a fighter, a meanly painted civilian aircraft, a cold-war Russian behemoth, anything with "an attitude".

Good luck, competition ends 23:59 Feb 29 2012.

Please take note of the rules here

Vulcan and Skybolt, A rare sight indeed ! such a shame that idea was scrapped by those idiots Sands and Wilson. Interestingly enough the surviving Vulcans still retain the wing hardpoints that were put in to carry the Skybolt to this day !

Let's see whats out there! !

Indeed the hard points were there, installed from XM574-onwards. XM597/598/607 used them in the Falklands to hang Sidewinders (I think) and a Dash-101 pod, nabbed from a Buccanneer

To me the harrier jump jet is my plane with attitude - This old bird has vertical take-off and normal take-off - Ever since I knew about this plane it has always been a favourite of mine. Good luck all - this the first ever time I have submitted a post in the prize screenshot contest hopefully it is a worthy contender :)

Thanks,
Jim

Well there isn't a lot more wild than the English Electric Lightning - a pair of re-heated Avons, an incredibly thin wing and a completely and utterly useless range! Seen here formated with a Tu-95 'Bear'

Posted Image

Unfortunatly, Alan beat me to it in terms of Iron Maiden's 757. Then I realised that it was the Final Frontier paint job (G-STRX), so this shot is of G-OJIB, the 'Somewhere Back In Time' tour aircraft

Posted Image

And finally - prehaps the aircraft isn't very wild, but my piloting is!
