Looks like REX users are getting another free major update in the near future :dance3: ( the release of Active Sky 2012 must have put the "wind" up them a bit  )

Hi Graham,
If I hear anything I will let you know, the announcement was right on the heels of the AS2012 release so I expect it was probably before they really wanted to make it public.
I guess they would rather have a well-tested product then to release in haste, it is a major upgrade and free so we can't rattle the cage too much!
Cheers,
Joe

Good idea Joe :) .

What I understand from reading the snippets at the REX site the new REX essentials will in fact be "REX3" so not an add-on at all, and it's also going to be free to the owners of REX2 :salute:

It will be as good as "REX3" Graham, it has been a year in the making and will be a significant advance.
REX are good to their core product supporters, you don't see this level of user reward anywhere else. ;)

That's true and a very welcome bonus from where i'm sitting, makes me wonder how they can afford to do this, and still make a good proffit :whis:
